Grand Entrance Portal to Cavern, Longhorn Cavern State Park, c. 1934 -1935
The photo documents a stage of construction of the stairway to the grand entrance to the cavern. The wooden forms support the stones as enrollees build the arched openings. While this work is in progress, the stairs are almost completed.
