Picnic Tables, Garner State Park, c. 1939
This postcard features the naturalistic picnic tables at Garner State Park. Although the original architectural drawings for the CCC depict a fairly nondescript picnic table, constructed from dimensional lumber, those actually built at the park show imagination.
