Roadway Rock Retaining Wall, Big Spring State Park, 1990s
Many decades have passed since the CCC positioned the retaining wall along the road bed. Tasked with constructing as much of the park as they could in one year, enrollees did finish the road, the stonework for the road, concession building, keeper's dwelling, pavilion, and a latrine.
