Possum Kingdom Reservoir, Possum Kingdom State Park, 1997
Construction of the Morris Sheppard Dam in 1936 to 1941 created the Possum Kingdom reservoir. At close to 20,000 acres, the reservoir offers a wide range of water recreational opportunities.
