Pool and Well Development, Palmetto State Park, March 1, 1935
Landscape architect Pat C. Fleming executed this handsome drawing showing the layout of the artesian geyser pool and downstream waterfalls as they flowed through lower pools and eventually to the lake, a natural ox-bow cut off from the San Marcos River. Controlled by a valve, artesian water pressure created the flow through the pools and the geysers.
