Concepcion E. Valdez Oral History, Part 1

Concepcion E. Valdez worked in CCC parks in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas during the 1930s. On March 30, 2003, he spoke with a TPWD interviewer on the occasion of the 70th anniversary celebration of the CCC. In the interview, Valdez describes the process of crafting fences and gates from native plants, making adobe bricks, and laying the bricks.
