Watertank/Lookout Tower, Mother Neff State Park, 1935-1936
This structure, like many park buildings, does dual duty. It stores water and provides a scenic view of the surrounding countryside. In the plan architectural drawings, the iron balustrade has a circular pattern rather than this rectangular one. Who made the decision to modify the design went unmentioned in the CCC records.
