Construction of Lodge, Indian Lodge, c. 1934

Halfway to completion, the lodge shows various stages of construction and the on-site staging of building materials. Enrollees have stacked the peeled pine vigas (joists), a tool bin, and a construction office on the right. Working on the roof, they apply the adobe mud surface. Newly framed floors and doorways and stacked adobe bricks stand ready for use in construction.
