Room 124 Restoration, Indian Lodge, 2006
In 2004 and 2006 TPWD specialists sought to recreate CCC guest rooms designed by Architect William C. Caldwell. To the extent practical, they returned the rooms to their original configurations by adding dividing walls and relocating doors. Caldwell's original designs provided comfortable cross-ventilated rooms that had spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
