Restored Exterior, Indian Lodge, 2006
In 2004, TPWD began a rehabilitation project to return the CCC-era interiors and exteriors of the lodge to their original appearance. TPWD architects and engineers selected windows and other features to replicate the historic section of the lodge built by the CCC, a preservation project that also served to increase the building's energy efficiency.
