CCC Bath House, Fort Parker State Park, c. 1993
Architect Jay T. Dunlap also designed a bath house of concrete, brick, and wood, and located it just above the swimming beach and south of the combination building. The central concrete brick core shown here, the only section remaining from the original construction, was a public area and concession space. Flanking the concession area were the wood-framed and clad men and women's shower and dressing areas; unfortunately, these are no longer standing. A wide stairway leads to the beach.
