General Development Plan, Cleburne State Park, September 2, 1937

Architect J. B. Roberts and landscape architect Rufus A. Hirsch collaborated on Cleburne State Park's overall development plan. Such a plan formed the basis for recording progress and showing what construction remained to be accomplished. Designers typically updated these plans every six months to coincide with the "periods" that the camps would request renewal. Updated for the final time on June 15, 1940, the drawing shows what work remained unfinished. The CCC vacated Cleburne State Park in August 1940.
