Army-issue Wool Cap, Part of the CCC Uniform, c. 1939

Known as a "garrison" or "overseas" cap, it was worn with the dress uniform, rather than with work clothes. This particular cap features the circular patch with the landscape design that became the CCC insignia in 1939.
