First Aid Pin, 1933-1942

Instruction in basic first aid was a necessity for men who would be performing manual labor at an array of construction jobs, many in remote wilderness areas. Upon completing first aid courses, some likely sponsored by the American Red Cross, CCC enrollees received lapel pins such as this one.
