Entertainment at CCC Barracks, Caddo Lake State Park, c. 1934

The CCC rigidly practiced the federal government's new workday standards of eight hours per day, forty hours per week. This left young men with ample time to study (most camps had an ongoing educational component) and time to relax in the evenings and on weekends.
