Overnight Accommodations, Caddo Lake State Park, April 3, 1935
Park planners placed emphasis on building attractive lodging facilities, and at Caddo Lake State Park these accommodations were an adaptive reuse of U.S. Army and CCC quarters. Landscape architect Fred R. Carpenter rendered the plan and elevation views of the various proposed types, showing addition of exterior stone, application of log veneer, and partitioning of the interior spaces.
