Stone Arch Construction, Abilene State Park, c. 1933 - 1934
Members of CCC Company 1823(V) are constructing an arched opening at the concession building. A wooden form supports the heavy stones during assembly and ensures the curvature remains exact. At the right, a worker positions and measures a window frame around which enrollees will set the stones.
